Renewing, Energizing, and Donating on KW Red Day

Our mission was simple: to show our neighbors experiencing homelessness that they’re seen, valued, and supported. In the weeks leading up to KW Red Day —Keller Williams’ annual tradition of Renewing, Energizing, and Donating— our team joined forces with Keller Williams Innovations in Boynton Beach and rallied behind a local cause: a donation drive for The Burrito Project. We all collected clothing, hygiene kits, and shelf‑stable foods, mapped out logistics, and spread the word throughout the community. By the time the day May 8th arrived, the response had already surpassed our hopes.
Highlights From the Day
At Common Grounds in Lake Worth, the atmosphere was filled with purpose and compassion. Instead of handling files or phone calls, our team and the Keller Williams Innovations agents were flipping pancakes, grilling sausages, and pouring cups of fruit punch with smiles and laughter. We served up hot breakfasts to anyone in need. One woman came through the line with her two dogs, and thanks to generous community donations, we had dog food ready for her too! The gratitude we saw from warm hugs to tearful thanks reminded us why we do this. Every plate served and every kind word exchanged was a reminder that showing up for people, especially in their hardest moments, can leave a lasting impact.
A Community Powered by Kindness
KW Red Day is more than a date on the calendar; it’s a reminder that real estate is, at its heart, a people business. Closing the office for a day might have paused transactions, but it opened the door to deeper connections both with our KW family and with the people we serve outside the closing table.
Thank You for Making It Happen
To everyone who donated, volunteered, or simply shared our posts: thank you. Your generosity helped us bring comfort, dignity, and hope to our homeless neighbors. We’re honored to stand beside Keller Williams Innovations and The Burrito Project because when a community comes together with open hands and open hearts, everyone gets to move forward.
